Bug for SQL Server 2008

I have spotted a bug in the code when you select a value from a combobox labled "Select the original database",

it incorrectly reports that the data source is not supported.

 

As I have dug through the code, I found out that, there is a piece of code (changeset: 22809)

Kernel.SetServer(Line 198),

the code incorrectly gets only the first character of SQL Server version number, thus "Character_Value", 10.0.2531.0 becomes, 1 not 10.

Here is the culprit.

 

string v = dr["Character_Value"].ToString().Substring(0, 1);

 

Here is a really dirty quick fix for the solution for me to get around,

 

v = Convert.ToString(dr["Character_Value"]).Split('.')[0];
